WARNING- CUTENESS OVERLOAD APPROACHING!
Between Kathryn’s glowing smile + laugh, and the way Logan looks at her, I felt all the feels flowering up their day and all again making this post. Carmen Lopez Photography’s work is stunning and absolutely nailed capturing the day and the love these two share. Also this was one of the most supportive weddings - so thankful for the team at Sugar Plum & Co. who were such a joy to work with, and Kathryn’s amazing family who all worked together with such joy and gratitude, and made the day go off without a hitch!
I gotta tell you- bouganvillea is not my favorite to work with. It can wilt QUICKLY without water and has spines that prick you to try and scare you away from it’s beauty. However, Kathryn knew what she wanted and I was game for the challenge. And honestly I feel proud of how it all came together, and Kathryn and Logan were so thankful and overjoyed with the result! I tucked in some matching roses into the bouquets to frame the protea to add interest and add another support in case the bouganvillea went south. And the little ranunculus bouts + blushing bride protea wristlets were probably my favorite I’ve made! All tied off with the best ribbon from Tono & Co.
The arch was a whole lotta boug but came out to be a bright pop against the beautiful trees at La Chureya Estate. And reception she wanted to keep simple to have the focus be on food + conversation so we added simple gold hobnail votives and white prayer candles down the length to light up the night, and a protea bloom to add a similar desert color pop amongst the indigo dyed napkins set on the center of each table.
